ENTROPY is a VRChat based community offering DJ events in a variety of virtual environments designed by us. It began as a creative outlet to design immersive places that bring people together. We've been running meetups and events since 2020, and want to further expand into the music scene. Our team is passionate for the rave, and we offer a place for people from all over the world to enjoy it together.

Our events are associated with a monthly operating cost and a lot of effort from the entire Team, improving the experience every time. A big focus for us is designing creative environments for everyone to party in, so one of my tasks as Founder and Design Lead is to build more unique locations. Photography Team
Entropy is on the lookout for passionate Photographers who are ready to dive onto the dance floor and capture the essence of the action at our events. If you've got a knack for photography and a love for all things VR, you're just the person we're looking for!
What we look for
Photographic Eye: You've got that creative spark and a good eye for capturing moments that tell a story.
VR Savvy: Comfortable navigating VR spaces. No need to be a pro, but knowing your way around helps!
Team Player: Collaboration is key in VR. You'll be working closely with our team to make each event a hit.
Reliable & Committed: Events are our jam, and we need you there, camera ready, to catch all the action. It’s okay if you can’t make it, but communication is everything.
Bonus points if you have:
Editing Wizardry: If you can sprinkle some post-processing magic on your photos, that's a huge plus.
VR Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with different photography tools in VR such as VRCLens is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.
Social Butterfly: Love sharing and discussing your work? Great! Engaging with the community is what makes this all worthwhile.
⌚ Time Guidance:
Expect to hang with us for about 2-3 hours per event, which usually occur once a month, plus some extra time getting you up to speed. We're all about making sure you have what you need to shine, so we'll walk you through everything you need to know.🔞 Age Restriction:
Due to the nature of VR club events and the responsibilities involved, we're generally unable to welcome team members under the age of 18.🖥️ Equipment:
Before you hit 'apply', there's one more thing to consider – your gear. To capture the vibrant chaos and clarity of our events, you'll need a computer that's up to the task of taking 4-8K photos of up to 80 folks in one go. This doesn't mean you need the latest and greatest, but your setup should be decent enough to handle the demands of high-resolution photography in bustling virtual spaces.
Stream Team
The events at Entropy can not function without a good stream team, so we are looking for tech-savvy enthusiast to bring the audio and visual experience to our audience by assisting with all things stream related!
What we expect from you
Stream Savvy : Being familiar and comfortable with OBS is key on helping us run our streams. We'll get you set up with our layouts.
Team Player: Collaboration with the DJs and the rest of our team is key to have a smooth stream. You'll be working closely with our team to make each event a hit.
Reliable & Committed: Our events won't run without you, so in the heat of the moment we need you to be ready to take action. It's okay if you need to sit an event out, talking about it to the rest of the team is everything.
Bonus points for:
Stream Wizard: Already familiar with Parsec and know your way around connecting to a stream server in a jiffy is a plus.
Scene Knowledge: Know how to configure additional Scenes in OBS and get the most out of them? Let us know about it to have your input in how we operate come through!

Our events run once a month for 6 hours, so depending on our stream team size and availability, expect to hang with us for about 2-6 hours per event, plus some extra time getting you up to speed. We're all about making sure you have what you need to shine, so we'll walk you through everything you need to know.🔞 Age Restriction:

Community Team
Holding our community together and providing a safe place for everybody is at the forefront of our ideals. If instance and community moderation through social interactions is a passion for you, this is the right place!
Requirements
Team Player: Working together with the rest of the team is key to knowing whats going on within our community.
VR Savvy: Comfortable navigating VR spaces and enough juice to run a packed instance is ideal.
Social Animal: Handling a lot of people can be tough, so loving the engagement and not shying away from confrontation is a must.
What we expect from you:
Ensuring our values are represented in a friendly and faithful manner
Resolve any conflicts at our events or on our community server
Take moderation actions in and out of VR when deemed necessary
Assist in opening additional event instances
Help keeping things stable by moderation avatar performance impact
Passion for providing a great experience to our attendees.
